About the Artist
“I create to find what cannot be explained, only felt.”
Iva Urban (Ivanna Urban) is a contemporary artist whose work moves between abstraction, portraiture and conceptual formats. Her practice is grounded in painting and material exploration, often engaging with broader questions of memory, identity and collective experience.
Combining academic training with an intuitive process, she works with rhythm, texture and minimal aesthetics to develop a visual language that engages with both personal and shared realities.
Originally from Ukraine and currently based in London, she draws on diverse influences while maintaining a focus on clarity, form and emotional depth.
Her work spans series and formats but remains united by a sensitivity to surface and a commitment to thoughtful, process-driven expression.
